Christies Campground

       We are a small family run camp ground located in the heart of Maine on Lake Sebasticook. Whether you are traveling by R.V. or looking for a week in a cabin you will find Christies to be a quiet, friendly place to stop, with well manicured grounds, beautiful flowers, and immaculate restrooms and shower facilities, of which we are especially proud.

Maybe you simply want to relax, or possibly you and your family prefer to be on the go.  Either way Christies is the ideal place to be situated. Bordered by woods and the glistening lake, our park like campground is secluded yet easily accessible to shopping, excellent dining and I- 95 or Route #2 travel, a perfect spot to use as a serene base from which to plan day trips to the coast, mountains, Moosehead region or to Bangor, which is just 30 minutes drive.  If vacation to you means curling up in a lawn chair by the water's edge while chicadees chatter and chirp away nearby, ducks of all description lazily paddle around near the shore and loons mysteriously laugh in the distance, then Christies is the place for you!

In addition to well tended campsites, each with picnic table and fire ring, we have 6 comfortable lakeshore cabins.  Each cabin has a fully eqipped kitchen, outdoor picnic table, fire ring, screened in porch and modern toilet facilities.  Many folks and family groups return to our cabins each summer to enjoy a tranquil vacation by the lake away from the hustle and bustle of city life.  These cottages are especially appealing to vacationers who don't camp, and want to get away and "rough it", but not really!
